The village of Brokenborough lies just over a mile to the north west of Malmesbury, in the county of Wiltshire.

It has a population of about 200 dispersed across the parish, with a cluster of 20 homes near to the church of St John the Baptist at the centre. Mainly standing in an AONB ( area of natural beauty ), it is popular for its attractive Cotswold appearance and rural setting. With good access to large towns such as Cirencester, Bath, Bristol and Cheltenham it is popular as a commuting centre as well as for retirement. It lies 6.5m from the M4, and 8m from the railway station at Kemble linking to London Paddington.

There are State schools in nearby Malmesbury. A modern Primary Care Centre is also available in Malmesbury whilst the Great Western Hospital is at Swindon. For shopping Malmesbury has Waitrose, Cooperative and Aldi stores and a range of independent shops.
